uPVC Casement Windows

Experienced Storm Casement Window Installation in Norfolk & Suffolk

Stratton Glass & Windows Ltd has been installing aluminium and uPVC windows across Norfolk & Suffolk since 1979, building a highly experienced in-house team focused on delivering reliable, high-quality window replacements.

Our storm casement window range (available in sculptured and chamfered finishes) is selected for its strong weather protection, security, and thermal efficiency.

Storm casement windows are one of the most popular choices for UK homes due to their outward opening design and overlapping seal, which improves weather resistance and long-term performance.

Unlike many national companies, all of our installations are carried out by experienced local fitters, ensuring a consistent, high-quality finish.

Why Change Your Windows

Energy Efficient Windows

Energy Efficient

Built Into Every Window

Glazing performance doesn’t need to be complicated. Factors like energy ratings, U‑values and double or triple glazing all play a part in how your windows perform.

We supply and install double and triple glazed windows across Norfolk and Suffolk, with our storm casement windows A+ rated as standard to minimise heat loss and improve energy efficiency.

For even higher performance, ultra‑efficient options with U‑values as low as 0.5 are available. Whatever you choose, you can be confident in a high‑performance window solution.

Condensation reduction on windows

Condensation Control

Clear and Comfortable

Condensation forms when warm, moist air meets cold glass, often affecting bedrooms and bathrooms.

Our windows are designed to help reduce this. Multi‑chamber frames and insulated glass units keep the inner pane warmer, while optional trickle vents provide controlled ventilation, helping moisture escape and improving air quality.

Performance is impressive too. Even with double glazing, our 6‑chamber frame achieves an A+14 rating. For ultimate efficiency, our 9‑chamber, Passivhaus‑approved frame with quadruple glazing reaches A+40.

Security - Secure Windows

Security

Safe and Sound

Home security comes as standard. At Stratton Glass & Windows, protecting your home is a top priority. All our uPVC casement window locks meet PAS24 standards, with an optional upgrade to Secured by Design – the official UK Police initiative for safer homes.

From multi‑point locking on casement windows to robust mechanisms on sliding sash windows, every frame is designed with security in mind.

We also include a range of additional security features as standard, such as internal glazing, reinforced lock strips and anti‑jemmy wedges.

Low Maintenance Windows

Low Maintenance

Lasting Looks, Minimal Effort

Our uPVC windows are designed for lasting good looks with minimal maintenance. The wipe‑clean finish never needs painting, while colour‑fast foils stay vibrant without fading or peeling over time.

Heavy‑duty hinges ensure smooth, reliable operation year after year, keeping maintenance to an absolute minimum.

Accoustic Windows - Noise reducing

Noise Reduction

Peace and Quiet Built In

Our casement window systems are designed to help reduce unwanted external noise, from traffic and neighbours to general urban sounds.

Our 70mm uPVC window can achieve an impressive 37 dB acoustic rating when paired with the right glazing, delivering a noticeable improvement in everyday comfort.

For even greater noise reduction, our 90mm triple‑glazed window can reach up to 42 dB, making it ideal for busier locations.

Colours & Finishes

White remains the most popular option, but we also offer traditional finishes such as rosewood and golden oak, heritage colours like Agate grey Chartwell green, and contemporary options including Anthracite grey and Matt black.

Frames can be specified in a single colour, or with dual-colour options (different internal and external finishes), including colour outside with white internally.

Glazing Options

Energy‑efficient double glazed windows

We have been installing double glazed windows across Norfolk and Suffolk since 1979. Over that time, window technology has advanced considerably, and we continue to offer modern, energy-efficient solutions. Our standard uPVC storm casement windows are A+ rated double glazed with a standard U-value of 1.3 (this can vary depending on profile options and design).

These help improve insulation, keeping homes warmer in winter and cooler in summer. We use high-quality sealed units from Pilkington (Made in the UK), known for their clarity, durability, and thermal performance, ensuring a reliable and long-lasting finish.

High‑performance triple glazed windows

All Stratton windows offer strong thermal efficiency. For improved insulation, our triple glazed windows are a step up from standard double glazing. Our multi-chambered storm casement windows, combined with 36mm triple glazing, can achieve A+20 ratings with U-values around 1.0. For higher performance, the EnergyPlus 90 system is Passive House certified, with U-values as low as 0.7 W/m²K (and down to 0.5 W/m²K with quadruple glazing). It has also been tested to withstand pressures over 3000Pa.

Traditional leaded uPVC and aluminium windows

Leaded windows are a popular choice across Norfolk and Suffolk, particularly for period and traditional properties. We offer a wide range of leaded windows and doors, including grid, border, and Queen Anne designs. We also manufacture bespoke leaded double glazed units to your specification, including designs created from photographs. Our decorative glass options are suitable for both replacement windows and new installations.

Georgian‑style windows with mounted bars

Astragal bars (also known as Georgian or mounted bars) are fitted to the external face of the glass, combined with an internal spacer bar within the sealed unit. This creates the appearance of traditional timber windows while maintaining the performance of modern double glazing.

Low‑maintenance Internal Georgian bar windows

Internal Georgian bars are a cost-effective way to achieve the classic Georgian window look. The grid is sealed between the panes of glass within the double glazed unit.

Because the bars are internal, the glass surface remains flat, making the windows easier to clean and maintain.

Integral blinds within double glazed units

Integral blinds are fitted within the sealed glass unit, providing a practical and low-maintenance shading solution.

They can be operated manually using a magnetic slider or electrically for added convenience. Integral blinds are ideal for bifold doors and French doors, where traditional blinds can be difficult to fit, prone to damage, and of course you don’t need to clean them because they’re inside the unit.
