Georgian Windows in Norfolk & Suffolk
Traditional Georgian styling with the performance of modern windows.
Georgian windows are characterised by their symmetrical proportions and individual pane appearance. We can recreate this traditional style using modern uPVC and aluminium windows, combining period detailing with today's standards of security, thermal performance and low maintenance.
Choose from different Georgian bar arrangements, colours, frame styles and glazing specifications to create a window that suits your property.
uPVC External Mounted Bars (Astragal bars)
We can create the appearance of individual panes using bars mounted to the glass with a matching duplex bar concealed inside the sealed unit to make it look like individual panes of glass. This gives the authentic appearance of separate panes while retaining the benefits of modern sealed glazing.
We offer a chamfered bar or a sculptured bar.
Aluminium External Mounted Bars (Astragal bars)
For aluminium windows, we offer a choice of 40mm stepped, 24mm flat or 40mm flat Georgian bars.
Internal Georgian Bars
Slim decorative bars are positioned between the panes of glass within the sealed unit, giving a cleaner, more understated Georgian appearance. We offer 18mm and 25mm internal bar widths, depending on the window and design.
